Open to writers from all the surrounding counties, The Mossy Creek Writers meet out of Jefferson City, Tennessee, a small town once called Mossy Creek due to the beautiful green moss still growing on the banks of our beloved creek.

 

We provide the camaraderie and support that writers of all genres need. This includes guest speakers, in-meeting creative writing activities, monthly assignments, feedback, and more!

The Mossy Creek Writers are seeking non-profit status to become a more visible entity in our community and to enhance it with writing programs for children and teens (currently, we just have meetings for 18+).
